Not that your leaving the church office will end your service, but I want to take this opportunity to thank you for so faithfully serving our church with your gifts of mercy, hospitality, intercession, and discernment. You are the heart and hands and feet of Christ among us. Your involvement and insights are reflected in this community-building newsletter ~ one of the very best legacies of your working in TCC’s office. And I’m grateful for your honesty in this swan song blog post. Recognizing when we’re distancing in our hurt, and then risking engaging, is really key in our quest to love well. Thank you, Debby.

Our chucrh body didn’t acknowledge Pastor Appreciation Month, but to be fair I doubt our tiny chucrh plant congregation knows such a thing exists. Super glad y’all got loved on though. How special!! Your blog is a blessing to me!

Wow, what a story!! What rlaely impacted me was the price that this Pastor paid in the name of unity?he counted the cost and paid it?am I willing to pay a price for unity?..hmmmm?what will that price be? Perhaps that is why we have the divisions in the body of Christ that we see today??

I’ve not thought to reply to one of these blogs until now. Thanks for being gut-level honest. I believe you are bringing joy to your heavenly Father through the struggle and through your faithfulness to your parents and to yourself and to Him. So thankful for the mercies He give us in each new day!
